ACTIVITIES

 Monthly programs are held and special interest groups meet from September through June.

The College Women’s Club of Montclair (CWCM) is a 501c3 nonprofit composed of women with post-secondary education who believe strongly in the advancement of women through education and advocacy. We work to promote educational opportunities for women, provide financial aid to high school seniors pursuing higher education, and gather for social events.

2025-2026 PROGRAM SCHEDULE

Events are held at the First Lutheran Church, 153 Park Street, Montclair, NJ and are open to the public. Refreshments are served 12:30pm. Speaker presentations begin at 1:00pm. Parking is available behind the church and events are held on the ground floor.

Women of History: Adrienne de Lafayette with Alisa Dupuy
Alisa Dupuy is a skilled storyteller and character actor who brings historical figures to life in classrooms, libraries, and organizations across New Jersey. Her presentation will portray the life of 18th century French noblewoman, Adrienne de Lafayette, depicting her life and role in the French Revolution.

Join us for Kevin Grace’s one-man show of stylistically spot-on vocals and professional musical skills in an exciting visual and musical presentation. Be prepared to be transported right back to the golden era of doo-wop harmonies and rock n’ roll hits!

History of the Paterson Falls with Heather Garcide
A natural wonder, scenic beauty, and tourist attraction, Paterson Falls has also provided energy to the industries that shaped the city of Paterson. Heather Garcide, Curator of History at the Paterson Museum, will use historical and modern photographs, and original artwork inspired by the Falls, to explore the waterfall’s journey from a natural resource and industrial tool to becoming a protected park.

Authors Richard Handschuch and Sal Marino will tell you everything you’ve always wanted to know about New Jersey boardwalks but didn’t think to ask! Everything from how to get there, where to walk, and what to see to stories, history, and fun facts!
